Business Situation

The ability to identify in-store shoppers and provide them with hyper-contextual information has been the holy grail for most of the large retailers and hyper markets. This not only provided superior digital experience to shooters but provided retailers with useful information on their shoppers behaviors and results in targeted messaging to shoppers at point of purchase. Implementing such a solution is a huge technical challenge as it involves complex technology elements and algorithms like Beacons, Artificial Intelligence and In-store location tracking among other things. MaxMobility took the challenge and implemented a seamless solution to help achieve the objectives.

The MaxMobility Solution

MaxMobility conceptualized and implemented an innovative Proximity Marketing solution by integrating the following components:

  • An Android Tab that was attached to the physical carts
  • Bluetooth Low Energy based beacons
  • A robust app on the tablet that was capable of in-store tracking, barcode scanning capability to display product pricing etc, dynamic advertising rendering basis a complex algorithm to display hyper contextual ads of all formats text, video, info graphic etc.
  • A consumer app to create and manage their shopping list
  • An Admin panel to configure dynamic advertising, beacon geofencing , and analytics of shopping patterns
